2002-2003 INTERSEGMENTAL GENERAL EDUCATION TRANSFER CURRICULUM (IGETC) The IGETC is a general education program which community college transfer students may use to fulfill lower-division general education requirements in either the UC or CSU system. Students pursuing majors that require extensive lower-division preparation may not find completing the IGETC option advantageous. Biology, Engineering and Liberal Studies are examples of these majors. Please consult with an academic advisor. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or higher.
