RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM: Students who plans to apply in Radiologic Technology Program must complete the program prerequisites listed below by college. It is a four-semester program once admitted including two summers. Porterville College does not offer the program but you can obtain the course prerequisites at the PC campus.
Upon completion of the program the radiographer shall be able to apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques to demonstrate accurately anatomical structure on a radiograph or other imaging receptor.|

Must have a high school diploma or GED with an average
score of 45. Minimum cumulative college grade point average of 2.5. Must have a “C” grade or better in all course prerequisites. Must have completed an Academic Summary Form and have no physical impairment that would preclude the performance of all dental hygiene duties. Must be in good physical and mental health. Prior to registration to the program, the student must submit evidence of physical examination by a licensed physican. |
