Prior to attending an assessment and/or orientation session you must complete the following:

• You must bring picture identification with you at time of assessment testing. Persons without ID will not be allowed to test. (If you do not possess picture identification, one may be obtained at your local Department of Motor Vehicles.)
• You must complete an admission or update form for the semester you are planning to register for classes. Before you make an appointment, you must submit an admissions or update form online - you must make an appointment for an assessment session by calling 791-2329 or by visiting the Students Services Office, AC-126, and making an appointment in person. You will be given an Assessment Preparation Packet and Matriculation Bulletin when you register for an appointment. You can obtain materials online on this website.
• You must attend assessment prior to orientation.

Registration/Walk-In Advising Walk-in Advising: Counselors are available for a limited time for drop-in advising every week. Please call 791-2329 for counselor drop-in times, scheduled drop-in advising days or make an appointment to see a counselor. Limited evening advising is also available. Special Accommodations for the Disabled Students may receive alternative services for the matriculation process by contacting the Disability Resource Center at (559) 791-2215.

If you are not able to attend one of the assessment or orientation sessions at your high school, register for a special assessment and orientation at Porterville College. Please call 791-2329 to register after submitting an admissions or update form online. Please see the date below:

Assessment: Tuesday, May 25 at 4:00 pm Location: Science/Math Building Room 102

MedPEP Summer Health Institute begins July 5 thru July 30th. You must have completed your assessment and orientation by May 1st. There are other assessment and orientation dates available on our campus which you can register for before May 25th. Please go online by visiting the Porterville College website at www.portervillecollege.edu High school students who are NOT graduating this June must take the assessment and orientation to register for classes.
